Fancy a Bimble Sat 24th to Scarborough?
I'm planning to head out mid to late morning tomorrow heading in the general direction of Whitby and Scarborough via Somehwere and then somewhere else and through somewhere else on the way back.
Set off about 10-30 to 11 from Ripon area and get home at the end of the adventure. Fish and chips for lunch overlooking the sea... or something. Anyone fancy coming along? Cheers, Carl |

You're passing up a chance to ride to go to a railway museum?

Im riding to the museum, I get out on the bike all the time... Only transport.
By the way if you head into Whitby the wistle stop might not be open, its closed till the 24th it says... Might mean its open on the 24th or after. I dont know. |

Pretty well to be honest. There is a little rust on the front callipers, on the bolts that hold the two halves together. The front discs like to seize, just the pads sticking, easy to release... low Carbon percentage so they rust well, EBC for you. It looks a little dull from all the grime... but so far better than the SV by a mile! |

I hope the trains were good. You missed nothing.
All we did was about 160 miles of twisty roads, helped a biker and his missus that had a spill on the A64, had some smashing fish and chips and then an hour watching the Sea King Hollychopter doing manovers to a navy boat about 300 yards off Scarborough pier before heading home. Every ride is an adventure ... and the Hornet is just laughing at the salt but it's a "dirty" bike. It gets far muckier than the SV ever did on the same roads. Comes back looking like it's been on an enduro on anything but bone dry roads. Wierd. C |
