06 Naked to S conversion

Anybody know where i can find a write up on the Naked to S conversion,
So far these are the Items i have:
Headlights
Fairing Bracket
Fairing
SVS Clip-ons
All the misc bolts

Now do i really need that tray that goes under the fairing and also the Guage paneling thing?
And how hard is it to remove the top triple? Thanx.

its easy to do and it looks like you already have all the expencive bits.

On the S version, that tray under the top fairing your on about (i'm thinking right i hope) also fills the gap between the lowers, that all depends if your getting lowers though, if not should be ok i think!!! (HTH)

i belive its called a chin fairing and the top piece is a clock surround, ppl do ask silly money for these. i might have a few bits and bobs that you might need, let me know what your short of.

Are'nt all the control cables etc different lengths on the Faired and Naked bikes.

TBH Why dont you just part ex your bike for a faired one and save yourself all that hassle ?

I just won the chin of the fairing so that takes care of that, as for the guage panel i dont think im going to need it. Now comes the question, how do i wire the S headlight? Whats the easiest way without having to change the whole harness. Im pretty challenged when it comes to electrical stuff so if you can point me at the right direction where i can see pics of the actual parts i need and where to hook them up would be great. Thanx.

the s version has a wiring harness which converts the headlights to twin, the naked version should have a simalair harness.
