Puncture Repair (How to use)

Hi Guys

I got a pucture repair kit with no instructions, typical! And i'm heading off to europe for 9 days.

Its the Kyoto tyre repair with 2 T bar tools and a 4 strips of sticky strips.

How do you them?

Help appricated as i don't want a puncture then not knowing how to use one!?

Come on, someone answer this as we all probably need to know!

Okay I'll have a go at letting you know how "I" would use the kit having used something similar I had bungs instead of the strips ( Strips are better )

1. Locate puncture and remove nail/glasss etc...
2. Push the T-Bar with knarl bit ( looks like a drill) into the tyre and out a few times ( not always necessary)
3. Thread one of the strips through the other T-Bar ( Like threading a needle) until equal amounts remain on each side of the T-Bar.
4 Put glue on the strips.
5. Insert the T-bar with strip into the puncture area on the tyre, Push in hard ( Making sure that you leave some of the strip on the outside of the tyre) and then twist and pull out the T-bar.
6 Strip should remain in the tyre and act as a " Plug"
7 Wait a minute or two and cut-off excess
8. Use the 2-way tube to attach to tyre and then attach other end tp cannister and inflate the tyre. Do not hold the cannister with bare hands as they get very cold and are likely to burn your hand.

Like I say that's how I would use the kit perhaps not how it should be used but HTH.

tis right, ive had a puncture and it got me out of trouble and back home safe.
