Thumbs down What not to buy for xmas!

I know it's early but some people do actually start in October!
For me the Iphone is the item which I wouldn't touch with a very long pole ( 30 footer ).
http://www.o2.co.uk/iPhone-Tariffs.html
The reason is simple, it is a complete rip off, but not really o2's fault as Apple played all the networks off each other to get the best deal possible.
Also the Iphone is full of bugs at the moment and ( I may be wrong here ) you can only play music and video's from Apple ( however some nice people are already into trying to hack the iphone to stop this).
So finally what items would you not buy for xmas

Apple iAnything.

I just don't get iPods and the like. I don't understand the obsession people seem to have with wandering around plugged in.

I am way too old for my time.

Sat nav. I hate the bloody things. I navigate from the rear and we've seen too much sudden panicked braking from people plugged into sat navs for our liking.

I can see the appeal, as you can use it like an external hard drive so you don't have all your music on the PC at once, it's the software that annoys me and how they try and "protect" music files against "piracy"

That too.

I have about three CDs in my car, for instance, and can't ever be bothered to change them. I listen to music for about half an hour then I get bored and switch to Radio 4.

In the car is the only time I EVER listen to music. I like music, don't get me wrong, I just don't feel the need to be plugged into it all the time. There are people at work who sit with bloody iPods on. It's so unprofessional - it really gets right on my tits.

I can understand people listening to music in a car...........but why do people feel the need to listen to it while riding a bike?
