Bit late this one. A picture from Sunday night, the start of the most amazing synchronised musical firework and light show I've ever seen. It was from the ruined castle/chateau at Angles sur l'Anglin.

I dragged my carcus up to the top of this hill to inspect Rodneys Pillar. Ridden past it many times and I thought it about time I climbed up to take a look.

I planted bulbs in my garden months ago. They finally started flowering but the flowers only last a few hours then wilt and the petals drop off. Some days I've missed them completely but last night two bloomed while I was home.

It's more complicated than that image shows but I couldn't get them in the same shot. There's a river, canal, road and railway at that point. It's just west of Llangollen on the A5. Look for chainbridge hotel.

I've ridden past it lots of times and meant to investigate further. Going across the road bridge takes you to the horseshoe pass but it was closed for some reason on my visit.
