Whats you get out of your last tyre.
Lets see how these things are performing lately, as I get at least 8k out of my tyres and I'm looking for comparable results in what I buy next. So if you could add details of what your tyres are too and maybe even the price that would be great too.
Looking for rear tyre figures but feel free to add details of the front to. Last edited by Grinch; 07-05-09 at 12:08 PM. |

My last set is just under 9k at the moment and where just under 170 quid for the set (front and rear).

Re: Whats you get out of your last tyre.
Didn't record exactly when i changed my tyres but the bike's done 25k miles and i've just changed to my 3rd rear - can't be more than 1000 miles ago. I seem to remember replacing the stock tyres at 9000 miles although i could be mistaken. Perhaps it was 13000. So anyway its at least 10000 miles on a Conti RoadAttack rear.

My last ones were Corsa III which did not warm up quick enough on normal road use, so now trying Rossos which give me more confidence from scratch (especially the damp)

Re: Whats you get out of your last tyre.
Pilot Road 2 I used through winter got over 8K miles out of it... same with the one before that as well. Thats on the falco though. My PR2 on the SV did over 10K miles before it was very flat.
Trying a road smart now. Feels good but ill see how it wears. |

Pilot Sport. 6,500 out of the rear and 13,000 out of the front - on a thou. I bought a shed load of them from M&P when they were doing 2 pairs for £240.

Re: Whats you get out of your last tyre.
Just about to change mine from a pilot sport to a road attack. Got 3500 out the pilot sport and its nearly through the canvas so hoping for more out of the road attack.
