Default Idle Speed for 2005 pointy?

Hi

Mine is just under 1,000 revs. It has been cutting out lately and this may be why?

What is the "correct" position and how to adjust please?

I have seen some older threads on this, but not for this model I think.

Cheers

Mine ticks over around 1800-2200 when cold and 1200-1400 when warmed. Under 1000 does seem a little low.

As above, 1200rpm at running temp. Once set you may want to check the TPS too...

I like my tickover to be set a little high at about 1400rpm as it helps reduce the high engine braking in lower gears.

if it's a pointy then try setting the TPS properly and balancing the TB's.

pointy fast idle is around 1800 and tickover when warm is 1300 which is about 10-20 seconds after cold start.
