Life after SBS Dual Carbon brake pads
Do I need to do something when I'm changing from SBS dual carbon back to normal pads to remove the transfer film on the discs? Or just let it wear off?
As good as the DC ones are on the track, they're not much cop on the road when they're cold |

Re: Life after SBS Dual Carbon brake pads
I'd ask whoever made the pads you're putting on.
I know EBC has given me good technical advice in the past, and I'm sure SBS has good tech people too. Hard to beat free advice from the manufacturers. |

Re: Life after SBS Dual Carbon brake pads
Got a reply from SBS pretty quickly (once I got my thumb out). No need to remove the transfer film, just be diligent about bedding in the new pads.
