Default Fuel leak

everytime i fill the bike up with fuel i seem to get a small bit of leakage from the filler cap, only does it when its full up and only from, the sort of top left bit of the filler cap (as you sit on the bike and look at it)

Its not the actual filler cap as it did it with the standard one but also does it with the new one ive put on, the new one has viton seals which are fuel proof, im thinking/hoping they cant both be bad items, so it must be something else

the leak seems to come from inbetween the tank and the edge of the surround on the filler if that makes sense

any idea's as to why its doin this because its getting annoying riding down the road constantly wiping the spillage off, probably ruining my gloves and taking my eyes off the road, for fear of it setting on fire (just my luck)

if its leaking from the filler cap when on the sidestand, you must be over filling it?

Is it coming out of the drain that sits just to the left of the filler? If so the pipe may have rusted out inside the tank.

Start doing a search on here.I think someone managed to shove some sort of pipe up inside the drain pipe to seal it.
