Er the light is still not wired in I'm soldering a loom now to fit tomorrow!

Yea its a cheapy ebay jobber alright! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/391359196878

Its my test road! If I can get a bike to handle on that road it'll cope with anything Bumpy braking zones, crests mid corner and the odd "jump" - good fun!

Got a little time to spare so I fitted the generator cover.

I went with the bike leant over to avoid draining the oil:

The cover came off pretty easy and I soon had the coils out:

So after cleaning off the remaining gasket I refitted the new shiny one:

The only issue I had was with one of the dowels for the cover. I had to grab it with some grips to get it out and the end got slightly squashed.
After some gentle filing, it worked out fine.

Next jobs are to mount the KOSO clock and get the fuel light working!

Hi,
I notice on your second picture it looks like you're using an Abba stand to raise the front. Did you need to fit anything onto the frame, or does the standard Abba cup fit the existing bolts?

Thanks Tony S

I removed the adaptors completely for the right side, just used the stands own tube (The blue bit) to fit over the frame bolt.

Then I used the standard brass fitting to go over the left side frame bolt.

I had a change of direction with the SV. The temporary "cafe racer" was not cutting the mustard so I went with a race rep theme.

Of my own race bike naturally

Here's how she turned out:

Thanks chaps, I know its not everyones cup of tea but it was a fun exercise and I'll see if it stays that way for longer than a year!

I noticed its windier in my face WITH the fairing than without which is annoying!

Ah well.
