Re: new MT-09
I think I'm old school when it comes to style and much prefer the XSR900 version of the MT-09. Fuelling set up and suspension is meant to be better too. If I was upgrading, that's the one which would tempt me.

Re: new MT-09
MT09 £7999
765S £8999 Cost more than the difference to sort out it's rough suspension. Ok the MT09 has more grunt. The 765 more Street Cred.

Re: new MT-09
If I had to pick a Yamaha from the current line up it would probably be an XV950R in green.
The modern styling direction Yamaha are taking just now doesn't appeal at all. |

Re: new MT-09
Yam's in yellow always have a good nostalgia vibe with me back from the days of the FS1E and the RD250 DX.

Re: new MT-09
Know what you mean about the yellow but if something is butt ugly the colour it's painted will not often hide it.

I think that the 2017 MT-09 has the same suspension as the XSR has, from what I've read in the tests in the magazines. |
