Default Replacement chain adjuster plates?

After recently adjusting my chain, I found that the adjuster plates on the SV650S K3 are made of cheese and gauged marks in my swing arm as I un-did the wheel spindle. I have found these on ebay as a replacement. Has anyone tried them yet?

Thanks

Rob

Never seen thise ones before, but it's just a plate - as long as it fits I'm sure it will work fine.

I think you might be treading a new path for SV650.org - let us know how you get on .

I've put a bid in so I'll keep you posted if they're any good. Can't really grumble for £12.50, worth a shot really.

£16 for that piece of junk (no offence to the person that made them). if you can wait a wee while i'll have something a lot better. they will be getting punched within the next few weeks.

I'm in no rush to be honest. I was just searching through ebay to see what goodies I could buy for the SV and found them. Last time I adjusted the chain, as I undid the spindle nut the adjust plate moved with the nut and consequently I've got a carved swing arm and a bent adjust plate

Have you got any pictures?

I've had that on my 2005 . Had a new tyre fitted , they must have a gorilla working the spanners , it was too tight had to use a lot of force to undo the spindle adjuster plate bent , not had chance to sort it yet due to winter. Will probably try to straighten it in the vice.

problem i dont have the drawings here. but they are close to the original plates but with slight modifications. they will also come with marker notches. they will also be handed as in a left and right to fit the spindle exactly so they dont move about as much.
