Default a refurbishing project

I like reading/following refurbishing projects, especially when you see the before and after. One of the best forums for this I've found is

Reminds me of the old joke about the man who gets lost while driving in Ireland. After a while he sees a farmer leaning on a gate, pulls over and asks if he could get directions to Dublin. The farmer replies "Well, if I was going to Dublin, I wouldn't start from here ....."
