From what i've heard its only if you are doing wheelies over a fair distance. Popping the odd normal one like for 30 yards after the lights isnt going to break owt.

Don't bother, even with low oil, you may end up with cam bearing knackerisation!!
well it does happen, then you have to get a new front cylinder head...not a good thing..I know, And this is all without wheelying

but hey, I'm not a guy, so I feel no need for willy waving

I wish I could wheelie just for the challenge of learning how to do it lol

Watched allsorts of videos on youtube, but at the same time seen alsorts of videos with people cocking up and wrecking the bike and themselves.

I will no doubt learn one day, its nothing about willy waving, i think its a challenge and makes riding even more interesting than it already is, and it would give me the buzz I crave for without rediculous speed being involved.

Oil starvation is only an issue with long distance wheelies, the odd front end pop up would be ok.

I have heard of the Cam bearing issues, but I beleive it is rare going by the bikes I have worked on and there idiot owners.

Steering stem bearings tend to get a battering but this is with all bikes and is due to badly controlled landings, unfortunately it does take practice.

.

Sometimes its not an idiot owner issueI'm not in that category...but it is rare, as I found out when I ordered a head gasket from Suzuki....
They actually thought I had popped tooo many wheelies....chance would be a fine thingwouldn't know how even after careful tuition..lol

Sorry 'dizzy' I meant that I work on a lot of SV's with idiot owners who wheelie them to near death, as yet I have not seen a Cam bearing go on a wheelied bike.
