Front Paddock Stand - which one?
I'm now wanting a front paddock stand for the SV (and future bikes ) and was wondering which one I should go for?
I've done a quick search but got little back, apart from the fact that the Oxford one sounds ok. Nothing too expensive, but enough to get the bike up so I can change wheels etc. Cheers, Tim |

Re: Front Paddock Stand - which one?
i think for an sv the spike/prong type would be best.i tried a motrax on my sv and it didnt go very well lol as the right hand fork is a bit of a different shape 2 the left 1.

Re: Front Paddock Stand - which one?
Get one with fixed prongs that go into the recesses under the forks. I have one of the with two bars each side types that swing around, and to be honest it's a pain in the 'arris. The ZX10R race bike has a prong type and it's so easy to use and more stable.

There are some sheap headstock stands on ebay at the mo, £40 delivered.

Re: Front Paddock Stand - which one?
The Champion stand is on ebay at mo. Too expensive. I only paid 30 quid for mine and 40 for the rear BUT they have a vid of them being used which may be helpful.
