Default GSXR top yoke nut

Longshot I know, but I've asked on the GSXR forum with no luck so far. I need the top nut from a K6+ GSXR 600/750. It's about the only thing keeping me from finishing my front end swap and actually riding the bike. Needless to say, I am anxious

Cheers,
-Mike

I've got an SV one, any idea if that would fit to do you until you find a GSXR one?

The SV one wont work.
The 600/750 k6+ GSXR top nut is different to the SV top nut.
I bought a titanium one from tastynuts.com for less that the cost of a OEM one from suzuki. The titanium one was about £22 IIRC and the Suzuki one was £26 I think.

Exactly right on the change in size. I rang a dealer and was quoted ~£20 for the nut, and £4 for the washer! Ridonkulous to the extreme. I spotted the Pro-Bolt Ti one- a bargain in comparison, but at the moment I need/want one without the dome. I think I've managed to find a stock GSXR one (free) - hopefully in the mail on it's way to me today.

excellent!
Does this mean that there is a black fork revolution going on in the GSXR front end world?
I was hoping that I might be the only one!

Just another face in the crowd now, I'm sorry to say...

Although you might soon be the only one with black forks and without the matching GSXR rear wheel (if my luck holds).
