ahh...didnt understand. just as a matter of interest - what amount did the delivery note show? (was attached to the tyres upon delivery)

all is sorted. Spoke to the manager again - he said he checked with a director of the company?? (yeah right), as they have always been told that they shouldnt give the discount to non-bike specific parts. He has admitted that he was wrong, and they should give the discount but only on web orders, not phone orders.
Incidentally they have taken the money for the tyres (full price without discount) and delivery out my account - I also ordered some carbtune gauges which they didnt despatch (long story), so I am getting a refund to only pay ?112.99 inc deliver for the tyres. So....if any of you order in future, make sure you do it by the internet, and kick up a fuss if you dont get the discount! Oh, and he tried to grill me as to why I was ordering tyres which werent a varadero standard fitment and use the code!!! - but I got out of that one! |
