Default Pointy chain adjuster plates

I think this may be a long shot but. I've not been on the forum for awhile but now I have my sv650 I'm trying to get it back to it's former glory.
I remember a few years back one of the members made some nice looking plates for the chain adjustment and also a bracket for the scotoiler?
So are they still available?
Cheers

sorry but none left, dont know when i will have any if ever.

unless someone is selling their bike then i doubt anyone will part with them. if you do happen to find a set i have spare oiler/speedo brackets sitting here.

Gutted, when you say Speedo is it possible to get the Speedo working of the rear wheel? Only ask as I'm having some problems sourcing new discs for my front end conversion that work with the magnets.

yes thats exactly what my kit was designed to do, full plug and play inc oem connector etc.etc. its a shame people never wanted to pay for decent gear that works without fuss.

if you can track down the main adjuster brackets (hens teeth) i have kits.

Is there anyway of doing it without the bracket can I mod the stock ones? Very interested in some more information on how you have the Speedo working off the rear wheel.

nope you cant, the kit was designed for the brackets. the stock brackets have too much slop in them and not enough material underneath.

there is no way to 'bodge it' due to the tolerances involved.

Okay, was this using the sensor and magnets or the stock Speedo drive?

have a look at the thread i posted and you will see.

if you want to try and bodge the stock sensor you need to drill the spacer out. as far as i'm aware it does work though.
