Thanks for holding GM IX last weekend - this one might have been a bit fraught, what with all the cyclists:
Timing of cycle event slammed as 'madness' in Lochaber Times.
There's also a blog ' Diary of a cyclist on the A82 ' which shows a reasonably restrained view of the other guy's problems.
I know a few of you ride unpowered bikes. Ride safe and keep enjoying it

the organisers need to take a deep look at themselves. there is no need for pushbikes to go up the main road as there are service and local roads that runs the entire length from ft billy to inverness. its an effin canal use the bloody roads that service it.

But I suppose they are OK provided they do not call it a 'race'.
