Default Britains got... sympathy.

I'm sorry, I'm not usually the type to watch the X-Skating with wannabe's get them off my telly type of "talent" shows. But it was just on the TV whilst I was getting ready for work.

On walks a guy who, fair play, had the courage to stand up in front of so many & look like a complete nerd (and I say that in the nicest possible way due to being a geek myself).

He starts recounting poetry, quite obviously written by himself. But his delivery seriously bored me to death. Writing he's good at, performing, certainly not.

His poetry was just a sob story about his life really - I'd wager a fair amount was actually made up too.

Part way through, I commented that he was playing for the sympathy vote.

Guess what, he got a standing ovation & all 3 of the panel voted him through to the next stage.

I'm sorry, wasn't that programme supposed to be looking for some sort of talent?

Anyway, I'll get off the soap box & get to work...

I find that who ever gives a sob story always go through...

I find it complete b***ocks

" I had an operation and during the op i died, it then took 500 doctors and 250 nurses to revieve me and they almost gave up after 24 hours of trying to bring me back to life and the doctor said one last try and thats when i came back to life"

Ughh dont even go out there your through...

Dancers, singers, they annoy me as well, how many dancers and group dancers go through? millions! (ok theres the odd dancers i think yea actually their good like the blokes that dressed up and put celeb face masks on) singers, go on the x factor thats what its for

Sorry to turn it into britains got talant rant (now theres an idea, alot of people might be able to win with rants )

At least I'm not alone! No worries about turning into a rant, as that's what I was doing to start with.
