Cool Oxford Grips Problems with new controller

Hey everyone,

I am having problems on my SV650s pointy, with Oxford heated grip new contol box. Problem is i wired it like they said direct to the battery, but sometimes it flashes the blue light 5 times then switches off.

Have changed to new battery no joy, just cleaned all termnals & connectors so will try that this weekend.

Heard that Oxford had a batch that were faulty!

So i will try one more time before sending back to get a replacement.

Any body had same problems?

Cheers

Yes they like to fail, but what you describe is normal.

On the SV they don't get enough juice while the bike is idling, so try switching them on when you're riding.
