Maplins heated gloves, £9.99
Saw these today in store http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?moduleno=47714 and wondered if any one had a pair. They look good for the money but with 3 AAA batteries in each glove was wondering how long they would last between changes. Ta.

you could always wack some re-chargables in there and buy one of those solar chargers so its free to power them.....

My experience of maplin in recent years is that most everything they sell is tat.
3xAAA - assuming 500mah and 4.5 volts thats about 2 watts, probably as good as holding a ciggie. |
