Serious Incident today at Oulton Park
From No Limits Facebook
"We had a situation that involved 2 bikes in fast group colliding at Turn 13, City Hall. (Between Knickerbrook and Druids) which left the riders and bikes down on the circuit after a fast blind corner. Unbeknowing to the riders following they exited the fast blind corner and straight in to the stricken bikes. Which caused a 5 bike incident. I am waiting for updates from the emergency services and staff at circuit but we have confirmed at least 3 riders critically injured. The circuit is closed and a full investigation has already started by the police and the H&S executive. I will bring you further information as I get it." GWS to all involved, just goes to show accidents can still happen even on the best ran track days.

Re: Serious Incident today at Oulton Park
That's awful. I've met one of the guys involved, last year. He's OK thankfully, but RIP to the poor bloke that died. Tragic really sad for everyone concerned.

Re: Serious Incident today at Oulton Park
It was at Hilltop, btw, no idea why the post from NL gets the location wrong. The bikes were scattered down the straight towards Hizzys.

Re: Serious Incident today at Oulton Park
Always a tough one to read. Thankfully it's incredibly rare for something of this nature to happen, 95 times out of 100 a crash results in a bruised ego and a damaged bike.
Thoughts with those involved, terrible luck. Jambo
