Default new member sv

joined today, as i picked up this earlier...a mint sk4 650s with a genuine 344 miles!! 1st owner locked it away in garage for four and half years!!..

So you'll still have to change the brake lines, tyres and break in the engine. And that's a good thing?

Welcome aboard, and congratulations on what looks like a great deal.

After four years you are almost certainly going to have to replace the battery. Lead acid batteries gradually discharge over time unless connected to a maintenance charger. Leaving them discharged leads to irreversible battery damage (sulphating out).

I'm sure one of the serious mechanics will be along with a more complete list of what jobs you should do before going too far.
