Default Anouncing My Retirment

Yes it is a sad day,

My bike was ridden away by its new owner last night, all the blood swaet and tears and now shes gone...But never forgotten.

This has happened on the back of me retiring from biking for a couple of years, i have flitted in and out of biking recently, and dont have the time and effort i would like to be able to put into it, especially with a house on the way.

A quick thanks to so many on here that have helped me in all sorts of ways since i joined the, it has been a place of much entertainment and relief fromt he "real world" that we face each day. additionally the advice has been sound, and i must owe a lot of people on here a beer or ten by now, am severley dissapointed i never made it to an AR, yet.

Im not leaving the forum, but i will frequent here less and less over the next few months.

I have a cunning plan to ensure i am in attendance at AR 08 to buy those beers and riding something big, and as fun as bank manager will allow!

So heres to you ..

and in the words of Viney Jones...

Its been emotional..

Alex

You can still turn up to AR07 as a support car.

That's not a bad idea..............

Take care..............you don't have to go just because you're bikeless. I'm sure there's a few bikeless people on here will agree with me

You could get an old nail with group 1 insurance and go back to toesliding round every roundabout. Or a minimoto, strap it to your back and run everywhere making noises like the crazy frog.

Hey, just look at it as a sort of sabatical untill money and time permit. I'm sure you'd be welcome at the AR in a car (or pillion). The atmosphear this year was brilliant, the ride was only a smaller part of the overall fun.

Good luck and take good care.
