Naked SV Wanted

As I have just joined and this is my first post...Greetings everyone!

I live in the Peterborough area and have recently passed my test

I am after buying my first bike and want a naked SV as I prefer the upright position. Are there any out there for sale or is it better to have the faired model?

Any advice /comments/bikes for sale welcome

Welcome to the site, not too far from me, closer to Mike-numbers.

PM Yorkie_Chris, he has a naked for sale for £1500, it'll be very mechanically sound also as he knows his ins and outs.

oh and curvy is the 99-02 carbed faired/nakid and best sort...pointy anything after 02 fuel injected and fuglyHTH

he services my bikes on a regular basis, and has just rebuilt one of them, defiinetly trustworthy with a spanner, and to buy a bike off

Moved to correct section, also Camel is selling a naked curvy SV (the original style). But lots of SV's appear over time so don't feel rushed.

Seems like a decent first bike that Yorkie chris has although he is about 130miles away (would be a good ride back though)

Just had a look at his ad on ebay and it does look quite a tasty machine.

My mate said he might be able to give me a lift up there but if he doesnt I might just take you up on the offer if thats ok?

No probs, or if you are like me and you don't like being a pillion due to lack of control and you wanna just get a train up then I will accompany you back
