Default This is why you should wear leathers or anything, graphic.

EDIT : Link removed as this is not considered to be within the site's U-rating policy.

NOTE : This video contains EXTREMELY graphic shots of injuries sustained during a motorcycle accident

That's rough. No idea what happened to him, but I'm pretty sure leathers wouldn't have saved him. Maybe helped a bit, but that's an impact wound, isn't it? Not road rash. Maybe mega chest padding might've helped. Either way, ouch.

Thanks for putting me off my digestive biscuit.

I think thats way too extreme a vid for this forum.

Sorry

I do have some 'extremely' graphic pictures upstairs of Pegs leg, that are gruesome, but I'd far rather not see someone with an open chest on here thanks all the same. That vid is sick tbh.

Nasty, but I see no evidence that this was caused while riding a bike (apart from the video poster's say so). I agree that leathers would have been of limited value as it is a puncture wound, presumably caused by the JCB bucket that wobbles into shot.

What amazes me more than anything is how everyone is standing well clear and not helping the poor bugger, but they have time to film it!! Jesus folks are callous.

I also wondered if it was fake for a first aid training exercise, the bleeding appears to have stopped and the victim has pretty good colour for a chest wound...

Live leak is notorious for having faked videos but also some very sick real videos.
Leathers would have done nothing for that bloke, and as said before it doesnt really look like it has anything to do with motorcycling.
His heart is beating very slowly so i'm sure the poor bloke bled out in no time.

Cant see how this is "Idle banter".
