Default Cracked Blue Flame exhaust

I have a Blue Flame Evo II exhaust on my sv650 k3. I have notice today that there is a crack where the pipe joins the bigger baffle box part of the exhaust. I think what has happened is i carry pillions regularly and they must of put too much weight on the exhaust instead of the passanger foot peg... As a warning to you all just to make you aware. Also just looking for any advice on closing the crack up would be appreciated..?

Sam

Post a picture up of the crack and we can see what options might be best suited.

If you search this forum, you will see that blue flame has had a poor history of cracking cans. I don't know how old yours is but certainly 6/7 years ago they were not to be touched with daveprestons tiny bargepole.

Do Blueflame still offer a life time warranty on their cans. Mine cracked in a similar place many moons ago. I sent it back to Blueflame and they rebuilt the exhaust and replaced the split end caps and holed titanium casing under warranty and it didnt cost me a penny.

Might be worth a try rather than bodging it up with exhaust gum
