Default New rider from Fife

Hi guys,
just passed ma test on the 1st june and lasted 2 days before i had to get a bike luckily there was an sv650 in close proximity to the house as i was looking at ninja's and stuff which would have been to quick for a first bike i feel. I liked the look of the bike as it was a naked 2000 model it is yellow and love the sound you get from the Vtwin. Only problem is the standard exhaust and the last owner must have beem upright all the time as a slight flat on the rear tire.
Since i got the bike have been out most days and loving it. I am fully converted to bikes form cars. the first weekend i decided to go for a wee tour up Oban to inverness then pitlochry round to perth and back to fife. was great a bit wobbly to start with but gettin there now (by no means a pro) but with steady progress im gettin better.
Had a couple of moments so far with farmers pulling out without looking but with a naked bike i feel the speed i do is a bit less so in my eyes i made the right decision for a first bike enough speed but not stupid.
I have read a few of the threads and some good info on here so when i think of some q's i will ask.
Only one thing i feel i need is a stubby exhaust prefer a carbon to get the propper note from the bike so she can sing! any ideas what the best is? im keeping an eye open for a second hand one as im a bit tight.

Cheers Hobo

cheers,
I did have a look at the street extreme and looks class but expensive at around 300 quid for the carbon. if i wanted to spend that i would go for the under seat twin pipe jobby looks even better. to be honest i am still between the single stubby and the ones under the seat if they are approx the same price then i will go for the later i think.
How many on here from fife then?
Where is the GM III being held? i will try and get to it if within decent distance and what is it??

Cheers Hobo

Cheers Guru,
I have my dads 50th b-day on the friday and my 26th on the thursday so i think i will be rather messy on the saturday and dont really go near the roads soon after a night out as a rule unless unavoidable. for that reason i think i will not be available for the saturday but the sunday i wil try my best to get to Creiff to meet up. sounds like a good run tho if im not there have a good one everyone.
