Woah you have a massive collection of vintage cameras. Are they still working?

Hi Calix, yes for the most part they do. That's just one tiny shelf but I do have a lot more. I think only one of the little HIT cameras works, I even have film for them!

Absolute tank of a camera. In excellent condition and even came with a proper lens hood which I didn't realise was included.

Well oil be damned, no wonder this Canon FD f1.8 was "cheap"!

That Nikon is a serious slab.
The viewfinder/prism looks different. How does it work?

Yeah, it's heavy alright! The little window in the corner is a light meter, but I don't have the right battery to test it (PX625) but beyond that it works as a normal prism with the viewfinder at the back. It's just huge! It's detachable so I can swap it for a waist level finder or a normal prism.
As mentioned, the only other I want is a Pen F, I would be happy with just the 38mm lens.

Fingers crossed I should be getting my OM gear back next week, just got an invoice. Service charge was £50 per camera plus parts. I did send down some gear as part payment so the total was reasonable. The only thing not working/unfixable on the OM4 was the LED and the exposure comp light is flashing constantly in the display. Other than that its been had a new circuit board, been adjusted, lubricated and new light seals. Pretty much the same on the OM2n plus a replacement light meter. I've got a French marked OM1 thats in bits after my attempt at "repair" and he will rebuild it.

Good news that these are finally coming back. Service charge seems reasonable too and should give them a new lease of life.
I took the FX-D out again today. Took a few shots with an 80-200 zoom. I like this camera. Small, light, handles nicely and simple to use. The only thing I miss is a dof preview but I can survive without one.

I have a few that have dof preview, but tbh I've never used it! The same guy has an Olympus M1 for sale for less than £200, but alas, I'm spent out at the moment. I haven't used my FX-D in quite some time, probably four years at least, nice camera to use though. I even reskinned it. I took more shots yesterday in the snow in and around the house than I did in all of last year!
