Curvy with GSXR front and rear conversions
2000 Curvy with lots of stuff.
This was mine, and then my dad’s, but he has decided to hang up the boots (he is about 76). Hasn’t really been used for the last couple of years, just sat in his garage having goodies added to it, and cleaned. Main bits. 2007 GSXR 750 compete front end and rear wheel conversion. Forks, discs, callipers, wheel, fender all from a new 2007 GSXR 750 (now still only have covered a couple of thousand miles). GSXR rear wheel conversion, with 2008 GSXR rear wheel as new condition, and brand new Avon storm ultra 2 180 rear tyre. In no practically order: 12 months MOT R & G Tail tidy Yamaha R6 quick throttle conversion Double bubble dark screen Seat cowl Aluminium rear under tray Rear hugger New front and rear sprockets (front +1) New heavy duty chain Kawasaki ZX10 rear shock, (checked and tested by Maxtons) New swing arm bearings Iridium plugs New plug leads and caps Yoshimura exhaust New throttle, clutch and choke cables New oil and filter Braided brake hoses New raised dog bones (originals supplied if needed) New shock link bearings GSXR foot pegs K & N air filter Near new Avon ultra storm 2 front (couple of hundred miles, if that) and new 180 rear Avon ultra storm 2. New GSXR rear wheel conversion including 2008 GSXR rear wheel, newly powder coated to match front. Although I bought this years ago as a cat D, (faring damage only) it is a genuine clean un abused reliable honest bike. This is a good intimidate bike before going the full GSXR route, lovely tractable SV engine with a well sorted chassis and most important, brakes. £1500. Bike is in Farnbough, Cheshire. If it doesn’t sell, I will convince him to break it, as the parts are worth more. Ist dibs will be on here, then the GIXER forums, then eBay. |

Re: Curvy with GSXR front and rear conversions
I just bought a bike! Dam it. That is mint and will be purchased in no time. I'm jealous of whoever the new owner will be. How many miles on it and has the speedo fix been done for the GSXR conversion. I will annoy people I know and make them buy this.

Re: Curvy with GSXR front and rear conversions
Thanks for the comments, mileage is 32,000 and it has the hall sensor and magnets for the speedo all made to look factory (the old boy is a retired engineer).
I have trouble remembering my own age, but doing the maths, he is 74. Mike |
