Help me decide between two jackets please.

Option 1:

They are both all black textile jackets, with elbow shoulder and back protection, arguably the spada has better back protection because its an aftermarket force field one..

I really can't choose , anyone have any advice or opinions?
My budget is about £100.

I have one of the Weise jackets. I use mine in the colder months as it's far to hot for summer. I've probably ridden around 12000 miles in it and it's still waterproof and shows few signs of wear. The most important thing for me is fit and the only way to find out if it fits is to try one on.

well, my old jacket ( ill fitting knox crossshirt) only sold for £41 ( a £80 loss on the price i paid a month ago) so its the weise i am getting cos its only sixty quid.


but in other news, where do they find the spindely armed men who fit into knox clothes?! i'm not muscly by any means, but even in the 42" (im a 40" chest) my forearms were squashed and squeezed.

I have a couple of Weiss Jackets and I really like them. My first was a Sophie jacket and it is still going strong with a friend who needed a jacket for her own bike rides.

My Second survived a tumble on the road with little more than a little scuff to the sleeve. I swear the armout made it feel like I was falling into a cake! I still have it for winter riding.

My favourite one is fluro yellow and is cut really nicely on me which is unusual because I have quite long arms and a short back (no I am a chimp!) and this is my summer wet weather jacket.

I gave my Weiss Bomber jacket to my mate who needed a a lightweight summer jacket a while ago and also gave him a heavy winter one too.

There is a reason why I had so many Weiss products. My Brother in Law worked for them and we got test samples, rejects (the Weiss name had been embroidered on upside down!) or old stock to play with so that they could clear their store room.

It is great budget kit, is quite hard wearing and the Knox armour is good stuff for basic kit.

Take a look at the Armr Moto Katsura too, without the EL light its right in your budget range. I have one, can't fault it. There's option to add better armour too including chest protector if you need it.

+1 for the armr moto jacket been using it everyday for my commute to work

FFS make the call. btw Weise are very good IMO.
