I would consider keeping shape of the G very close to the original (in the sense of keeping the bottom right corner of the letter G straight vertical) and just simplify the R (remove the vertical line on it altogether). this way you'd avoid the creation of blank space T letter in the middle of the logo. it is just an idea, I would have to try draw it first to see if that works.

Good logo tbh, I don't see a prominent 'T' in that design, maybe in the others but defo not option 2.

As well as the GTR comment which is a good point, I don't like any of them. All the GR letters look too complicated and contrived. If anything I prefer the old one but it has the 'GTR problem' . I would start again with the old one and separate the G and R letters as others have said .
Ps Looking at them again , the angular letter M in 1 and 2 doesn't fit in with the curved style of the GR.

Really good points mate, especially about the “m” , we will have to do something about that.
