I've worked for both Bosal exhausts in Preston, and what used to be Harmo in Tysley (Walker). It was 15-20 years ago maybe designs have changed, but they both make exhausts for all makes and models, both OEM and standard replacement, not boy racer stuff. I never saw one go through the production line that didn't have some packing somewhere. In many cases the entire silencer boxes were filled with a one piece basalt wool insert.

Believe me, I remember the itching well!

I went to see it.

it was a bird strike !!

ha na cant see anything.. but- shiny new front and middle exhaust bits still with labels on.. thought she had new bits on.. but the back box is older.. so yea maybe it is that and the packing.. must be..

she has a regular garage she uses - she was just worried it might blow up or YES that she had a bird in there.. !

anyway .. she aint noticed it going sluggish- it is a 1.2 automatic and she is 74 so she goes sluggish anyway . ..

thanks all

I will post on here after she been garage..
