Diolch Mike. Indeed, twins, although they are nothing like each other in either looks or temperament!

Finally got my hands on a new Honda Transalp for a test ride. John Banks Honda have opened a new bike dealership in Colchester and I spotted them while riding by. I do belive Honda have hit the nail on the head with this one. The engine sounds great, has plenty of poke and the bike feels really solid on the road.

Shame those boots are not my colour...

Whenever I've tried a bike with a low seat I can feel the comparative lack of padding, and as the passenger seat is still waaay up in the air I still find it difficult to actually get on the bike at all.
