Default GSXR 750 front end wheel spacer length?

Hi chaps- just replacing the bearings at the moment in my front wheel (K3 750 front end on SV650s 2000) and there seems to be a bit of a problem with the length of the spacer, insofar as the bearing does not want to sit on the lip on both sides- is this normal?

Cheers!

did you make sure you put the bearings in the correct order??

normaly without bearings it looks tapered and a step on one side of the wheel, one bearing has to go and sit flush on that step, then put spacer in and put the second bearing in untill it mates up with the spacer and without pushing the other bearing out

you will then have two dust caps to fit, this will make the edges of the spindle look flush.

yes, it is normal and has to be that way, otherwise you would destroy bearing in no time. left side bearing goes against lip and right against spacer.
