Saturday & Helmsley/Whitby? (24th)

Wondering if anyone wants a small ride out? Its the day I finish work so a little hoon out would be great. Be a meet at about 1200 (I may need beauty sleep as im working Fri night...) and will do either the Helmsley TT or the Coast road to Scarborough (From Whitby...) and get some chips etc...

Upto you, can do more if you like but these are just a idea to start with?

im off to watch footy on sat 23rd, but might be up for a northukbikers ride on sun 24th that starts nr barnsley

Where abouts you from Ash? Could go for a short ride out about mid day sunday to say Castleton? If anyone is up for that then cool. Not a bad ride out imo. Nice place to go... but not a long one.

If the weather is good we could carry on and head over the Cat and Fiddle and then back over it, watching our speed of course!

I'll have been paid aswell which is handy after using 20 quid of petrol in the sun last night

I'll be up for it providing it stays relatively dry.

I'd be interested. Was planning on doing the East Coast further down, Spurn Head to Filey (250 miles according to google maps, inc. getting to and from West Yorkshire without boring motorways). Never done the Helmsley TT before, but would like to try it.

So youd like to do the helmsley TT? that should be fine. I dont really know where to go after doing that... Could turn round go back down to helmsley then down to Whitby and along to Scarborough and get some food.

What time would you like to meet at Helmley village/town?

I may be about Saturday for a bit of a spin out and a farewell to the mighty SV before I sell it, I'll keep my eye on this thread. Helmsley whenever, could do the Castleton loop, or the moors road from Guisborough to Whitby.

Got a feeling there could be plod about, it's a bank holiday after all......
