Default Replacement Bolts for Ignition Barrel?

After twisting my T40 torx security bit, trying to loosen the bolts in the ignition barrell (due to loctite securing) can anyone suggest a replacement size bolt I can put in there place? as one got rounded off a little in the process as well.

I'm not that worried about any pesky kids trying to steel the barrel, so not fussed about security bolts.

Hiya mate, i had the same problem but managed to get some capscrews from work, i think they were M8 x 25mm, they seem to work fine with a lil bit of loctite on there

Managed to pick the bolts up at my local motorcycle repair shop in London amazingly enough...so I can not replace like for like, without having to worry about anything coming loose. The part number if anyone is interested is 09139-08016

Thanks for your help guys.

Any tips on the best way to get these buggers loose before I chew them up?

If you can get a hot air gun in there, then warm the alloy up gently. My gun has got 2 settings, I used the lower one.

Plus it will be much easier if you disconnect the ignition from the loom and take the yoke off, so you can get better access to these buggers and hold the yoke in a vice. Then you can squirt some Plusgas in there to help

Hmm, I've never actually had a problem with them, once you get the proper security bit anyway.
