TBH I have no idea what to expect, and yes I did think if they were alright I could invite them along to one of our rideouts. She did say there were only 4 or 5 in this region at the moment.
I am very wary I have to say, I never feel comfortable amidst a group of women.

Ive never made jam, very rarely make cake and dont intend to ever start. Id rather be cleaning and lubing

Wow you people out in the sticks really have some boring roads! This was the route I did in the work van yesterday.

Ipswich and Yarmouth were quick visits. Alot of my time was spent in Norwich and a bit in Kings Lynn. The roads are so straight and uninspiring to get to places, the only thing to keep me active was the deer signs. I started to get excited about seeing a roundabout so that it give me something to do.

As weekends go that wasnt the best:

Friday I picked up my bike from the bike shop who'd had it for 8 days because Hel kept sending the wrong size rear line for it. Was about 4 miles from home when it spluttered and ground to a halt - no fuel. The bike doesnt have a warning light and was only showing 200km from filling up, have easily done 220 before

Left the bike on the side of the road, hopped on back of Jeff and went to get a fuel can. job done.

Saturday: Rode 70 miles to and from Billing Aquadrome 'Bikefest', 15 miles from home bike cut out, cruised to standstill. Started again but cut out within 10 seconds. Call to my friendly RAC man. 2 hour wait!!! Hopped on back of Jeffs, went home for cuppa, returned to meet RAC man, started first time an rode home no problem. Fecking Hondas!!!

Saturday night: In garage removing Fairings to acces fuel filter, suddenly bent over with the MOST excruciating pain followed by a night in Addenbrookes with suspected Kidney stone on left hand side. Had CT scan sunday which showed no stone on left, but clearly showed large stone on right for which I had surgery in June and they couldnt find! Fecking kidney stones!!!

Not a happy bunny Supposed to be riding to Wales for 5 days next week so have ordered new fuel filter. On Saturday I need to remove tank, replace filter, clean tap and replace tank. Hopefully it'll start but i'll be off to Wales next week constantly worrying if its gonna cut out again. Not impressed.
