Default Gladius Comfort seat.

My son has an '09 Gladius, a great bike but we both agree that the seat comfort is not all that. I have a K1 and K6 650S and have had no problems with either on long distance rides but 40 miles on the Glad and I needed a break.
Anyone done an upgrade or have any advice? The Glad lives in Melbourne but I reckon I could take a seat out next visit, took over 25kgs of bike kit last time!

Difficult (for me) to offer advice, merely suggestions - if you bought a seat here and it's still not comfortable, would you bring it back?

This place is in Melbourne:

might be worth dropping them a line?

I think the Gladius was more popular in Europe than the UK:

Corbin (USA) make a "gunfighter" seat for the Glad but their products always seem too pricey for me:

I don't know why a lot of modern bikes seem to have uncomfortable seats - maybe our bums have changed shape through evolution?

Thanks very much!!

Have passed on ACM seats to Tim, it looks favourite as only 10 miles or so from his place and is actually on his way to work.

If I did take one out it would get left there as anything would be an improvement. I did see a Glad last weekend with a tailored sheepskin cover but the rider was not around to ask about it.

I think age plays a large part in getting comfortable. I have a BMW F800GT which was absolutely awful when new seat-wise. I complained and was told it would break in over time. It has, either that or my **** has.

Thanks again
