Default gpz yoke

will the yoke from a gpz600 fit a gpx400
i have been trying to rebuild a gpx400, but not having much fun.
i know alot of parts are interchangable, but not that interchangeable
got gpx600 suspension legs, but found stanchions to be slightly thicker. so got gpx600 yoke

now my problem is, got gpz600 wheels. very nice. but don't fit, forks need to be slightly more apart.
gpx400 7.5 inches to center of stanchions assume gpz600 is 8 inches

so, now more money to spend on anther yoke, but will it fit.

a gpz600 yoke in a gpx400 frame

I'm sure we would - if we could.

I'm guessing that no-one on this forum knows.
