Default Crankcase breather and custom airkits

Out of the lurking shadows, I pose a question to fellow SV'ers.

I have a Renegade airbox conversion and one of the by-products of not having an airbox any longer is there is nowhere for the crankcase breather to route to.

It was directed towards the front sprocket where it works well as a Scottoiler - although after a long trip it does tend to get very oily. The result is a very messy engine!

My question is does anyone else have airbox mods and what have you done with the breather pipe?

Cheers

Conventional wisdom is that after your catch tank, you want a breather with a filter on... All the filter companies make breather filters, easy to find. Otherwise, you'll likely find you have problems with the hose popping off your catch bottle

Cheers for the advice.

I have had a (open) catch bottle which worked but certainly could have been better if it was designed for the task- thanks will try for a breather filter. Any brands or suppliers to kick off my search?

I had also tried a sealed tank but the pressure was pretty intense and was causing blowback (smokey exhaust) and a popping noise that I first thought was impending mechanical DOOM!
