sv650x ecu
I might be horrifically wrong here but I assumed ecu's we're only an option of restriction for the Fuel Injections.. (03 later)
No I don't have one for sale, I don't even know what I'm saying. Need sleep. I feel stupid now actually. I'll leave. Sent from that magical device in my pocket.

Re: sv650x ecu
you could well be right, just since it can't be done via the carbs as there arent any.... lol didn't think about that... I've just seen a few advertised that say restricted to 33hp
in that case any working 2000 plate ecu will do.... |

Re: sv650x ecu
The 03 onwards models have injectors and that to me would mean that from 03 onwards they have throttle bodies instead of carbs.

Re: sv650x ecu
Im confused?
There isnt an ecu on a 2000 curvy as it has carbs. Carbed engines use a CDI unit which merely controls the spark. You cant restrict a carbed bike with a cdi unit. You need the carb sliders as alex above says to restrict a 2000 sv. They just fit between the carb and the manifold on the engine in order to restrict the amount of fuel/air that can get through. If it was a 2003 onwards sv, then it would be fuel injected and then it would be possible to restrict via an ecu which is mapped to 33bhp. |
