The Strangest Thing....
Anyone had a similar experiance???
Or does everyone I know take me for granted??? Apparently...I am the invisable man. I've had a moustache for well over half my life. However, was starting to look carp as of late so friday evening after work I got a haircut and shaved the stache off. The Mrs. knew ahead of time...but no one else. Get home, youngest son doesn't notice, even when Mum asks if he see's anything different. Has to be told. Saturday... go to work. My oldest son works there (24). Had it longer than that but..no he doesn't notice either...nor any of my other employees??? Took me own Mum out to eat Sunday...sat directly across from her...just us two...she doesn't notice either! Work again today and still no one there has noticed. However...among customers and friends I don't see everyday.... EVERYONE seems to notice from 50 feet away! Do we really pay that little attention to the everyday details in our lives??? Or is it just me??? Tis' a bit like living in "The Twilight Zone". People I know really well can't seem to see it. People I don't know well can't see anything else. No... I haven't bothered telling anyone. I wondering if they'll ever know!!!

Re: The Strangest Thing....
They probably think it looks rubbish so don't want to mention it for fear of bursting out laughing...

LOL It may look rubbish but believe me my son wouldn't hesitate to point that out if he thought it did.

Re: The Strangest Thing....
No..not really...LOL
Personally I'm glad it's gone. Haven't been happy with the way it looked for a while now. (getting grey) Don't know why I waited so long to shave it off. ...and the Mrs. likes me better without it so...it's gone.

Re: The Strangest Thing....
moustaches are awful. i'm yet to see one that looks right on a man or woman
i suspect there's relief from the close family, and those not so close happy to tell you how much younger you look.... |
