I bought a lomo in the late 80's as a pocket camera, although I think it was badged as something else. It didn't last long before it fell apart.

Probably badged as a Zenith. This one had a sticker on but fell off. Had to totally strip the aperture mechanism of the Canon FD 50mm f1.8, it was oiling the blades again for some reason. I hate aperture blades.

At least you could get into it. The FD 50mm I had contained fungus but it was a version with sealed elements and I couldn't open it up to clean it.
Seems like Roger has done a good job on your 2 Russian cameras.

He has, but the body casting on the Zorki is so tight that I will need long nose pliers to get the film canister out! I might see if there is anymore filling I can do. The IN a have been delayed so he can repair the OM 1 I sent him last week. They will hopefully come back next week.

Got my films back today. The ones from the OM2 aren't very inspiring and very grainy due to expired film. One roll I thought was new was actually part used, it came in a job lot and had photos from the Isle of Wight on it. The Lomography Sprocket Rocket didn't come out as I accidentally set the aperture between Sunny/Cloudy and no light made it in. The AE-1 aperture clean was sucessful and the Leica iii is working well, it just caps at 1/500.

Snow can be hard to meter. You got the exposure right with the Leica/Industar combo. Nice warm colours.

The film was the Poundland 10 exposure roll, good for half frame or quick tests. I actually used the light meter app on my phone for the Leica and the AE1 was on auto. Shortly after this the aperture gummed up again but I've cleaned it properly. I've loaded the Leica with a roll of Fomapan 200, can't wait to be allowed out to shoot!

Which light meter app do you use on your phone, Kenzie? I should have one as back-up but I don't.
I went out for a walk today in the fields and woods around the town. Took a few more shots using the SRT303. Over halfway through the roll. Annoyingly, the plastic tip on the winder decided to detach itself somewhere along the journey. Seems to be a common failing, probably cheap glue. Probably wise to check my others.

I know what you mean, the winder tip has plastic legs pushed into the wind lever and they go brittle, I bet you will find to black dots on the lever. I haven't really been anywhere apart from shopping for the last three weeks, I was in work a couple of days last week but I'm back in from tomorrow. Which is good as I'm getting a little cabin fever. I use the Lightmeter app, I paid for it as it stores the last settings used. I have however just invested in a Gossen Lunasix F light meter, it was listed as buy it now for £40 plus post but I put an offer in of £30 and it was accepted. Just had some Fomapan 120 100 iso arrive so I can cut it down to 127.
