I always mention the 12 months warranty. I had a young lad in a couple of weeks ago who wanted to trade in a 400d. It was only worth about £15. We talked about a replacement which led to the 700d. We no longer stock this new so showed him camera jungle where there were a few to choose from. He did the trade-in with them and had his 700d a couple of days later. No sale for us, but a happy customer who then bought a new bag and some other bits from us.

Some of the lads from my store went down to their depot last year to help process incoming stock. They were quite surprised at the low shutter count on some of the top end cameras, hardly used.

Yep, I've been browsing their stock

Bullseye. Bit of an odd one this. It is a very rare 1929 fireless engine, used in factories where sparks would be dangerous. It was "charged" with steam at its shed and had to return frequently to top up. You sometimes see locos on preserved sites running short distances that have been converted to compressed air - same basic principle.

The story behind Bullseye is here. Wishfull thinking probably but an interesting sight as you whizz along towards Leicester on the A426.

Interesting. I've never heard of such a thing.
