Did the plugs (the last one was a struggle) and a few more bits. Bike is running well.

Is this the correct battery time down strap?https://photos.app.goo.gl/fzbS9rVPgPzKTtYg9

hard to tell from that photo but the one I posted a PDF picture of was from a 2016 AL7 but don't recall seeing the features at bottom left on what would be the end furthest away from the fuel tank. Will try to get better photo of AL7 one. Maybe previous owner fitted a larger capacity battery ( they are about 20mm taller ) and the standard hold-down would not fit, any chance of contacting them, they may still have it ?

When looking on SVRider.com ( USA ) found this link to Gladius service manual ( 584 pages ), 1st link is to SVRider thread and 2nd to manual location you can download PDF and save it on your PC - there may be some differences to USA model but probably 90% will be same in UK.

Hmmmm.

Here's the ebay listing:- https://www.ebay.ie/itm/Suzuki-SFV65...53.m1438.l2649

I'll check the battery size.

Thanks again SV650rules.

The battery is a bit too tall. I can see this because fuel tank support rod lays down really tightly on top on the battery itself so there'd be no room for a battery cover.

I fitted some OEM brake and clutch levers - a bit improvement over the stubby things that were on the bike.

p.s. Would anyone know the paint code for the frame? It's red.

assuming it's a 2015 Gladius, the frame colour is YVZ (pearl mira red)

(last 3 characters of part number of frame)

It's earlier - a non abs 2010 model. Your link (thanks for it) suggests the paint is AR4 Red.

So I bought a 12A-BS battery (I hope that's the right size) and also that battery tie down strap thing off ebay. I'm pretty sure it'll fit.

I also ordered that Mira Red touch up paint. I've a bit of work to do in removing some surface rust and loose paint, treating the rust with Rust Remedy or similar, and then applying a bit of original red over that.

When that's done I'll see what happens next - the wheels would look great powdercoated in original black, and the bar ends too maybe?

I see you now have a place the clip the plug thingy that was floating around behind fuel tank before, good job.
