Have to say, don't quite understand what has been agreed. Every other Tuesday we meet at the Shire Horse, but a member of Thames Valley can vote a different location on an ad-hoc basis. Does this mean that come a Tuesday meet up day, I can then decide that the meeting is going to be in Newbury instead of the Shire Or does it mean that we can vote a different day as well as a different location

Hey, things at work have got extremely busy. Damn promotion means more work. So I'm tired and confused.

Was this decision made yesterday at the Shire
Shire horse every other week no matter what. On the week that we would usually have a ride anything goes - rideouts, meets at different locations etc etc.

Hope that sounds ok to everyone.

Jon

Nothing is ever set in stone, I think we just decided that seeing as the Shire Horse was central and had great food, that we wouldn't bother with the Flowing Spring (no food) or Fleur-de-Lis (unfriendly) anymore. But if anyone finds a different pub that they think might make a nice change, tehy can tell the rest about it.

I dunno, you miss one tiny meet-up and you come back to find Jon is the new section head, hey Big Ape?

Didn't mean it like that. Was just trying to clarify my earlier post as it had caused confusion. Obviously if we come up with a better place etc then thats all good. It would however be slightly annoying to have to go through the whole process of finding another pub only a month down the line.

Firstly, i've already cemented my position at the Ape's right hand side.

Secondly Shire Horse is good for me as i can go via some twisties.

Hey it was all said with tongue in cheek. Well most of it. I did look for the smiley for the tongue in cheek bit but couldn't find it.

To be honest I preferred to have a set singular meeting point. It meant that newbies would always know where we would be meeting and at what time. So regardless if there was a poll or not, they would be assured that we would all be meeting at the same place each time.

I shall amend the welcome message. Jon, if you could amend the map also?

Coolio.

Oh and I work SOLO.

No now ladies.
