Bike Update ( image heavy )
From this
[img][/img] to this... [img][/img] and then to this [img][/img] also took the tail off.. [img][/img] side view.. with renagade titanium fitted.. [img][/img] back end view [img][/img] this is how she stands at the moment.. she needs a re-spray and all her bits putting back on .. the fist pic was how she came to me .. stolen and recoverd .. never herd it running,, did'nt even have a battery. !! sent her away to get her started.. and found out she had only done 240 miles.. and the engine was as sweet as a nut.. .. |

M8ty I paid £400 for the bike as a none starter !! the thing was green at the front .. it had been dragged out of a cannal i belive. the owner had it standing for a yr untill he decided to get rid.. i picked it up off my brother in law.. who picked it up from a aution dealing with stolen recoverd stuff.
class D cracks and dents all over.. but i thought dam what the hell if nothing else will make a winter hack .. if she dont smarten up .. so what. it will do for a blap around .. but after cranking over the engine and seeing the mileage .. the thing that saved her was the joyriders had snapped off the brake lever, the gear selecter had broken off so they dumped it i assume .. i've spent around £350 so far. and looks like shes going to need a new back shock as it leaks. so add that to it .. and the price of a re spray. i a guess i'll of spent close to a grand.. still not bad for a bike thats done less then 300 clicks,... |

fowlers aye .. your neck of the woods i belive, yeah a bit of a bargin .. but could have gone the other way.. also. but still i think i could have got my money back by braking her down but i'm more then happy just been quoted around £80 for the back shock. might do a search on ebay for a gixxer shock see if i cannot get the price down a little
