Just got my son the Oppo A5 for his first phone. For the money it's a great phone.
I have an Oppo Find X2 Neo - and love it.

I have 8gb, and NEVER need anywhere near that. But then I use wifi at home and work.

It'll chew it up pretty quickly using it like that.

When I moved out of my home & into rented accom, I was regularly using up the 6gb plan I was on, that wasn't watching films, that was just browsing.

With Netflix you are able to download the content onto a device, to watch off line. That'd save your data for sure.

GiffGaff were doing 40gb plans, and at least you don't have to take out a long term plan with them.

Otherwise buy a MiFi dongle and watch netflix on a laptop or tablet, using the MiFi as dongle. You could use the GiffGaff sim in that?

Sometimes I amaze myself too

It's burried in the menus, so not obvious to look for

Glad I could help

You can do the same with Amazon prime video

If you keep them downloaded you will need to refresh the download every couple of weeks or so. It's not another full download, but more confirming you wish it to still be active. Had to do this quite often when my little girl was Trolls mad. I kept all the episodes on my phone, just incase.

Cool, it'll save having to pay extra for data to stream it

If you think of it like that, Netflix (/amazon whoever) saves you on storage and upkeep of your hardware too (providing they have your tastes on their service )
